Software Developer
We're a small software company in Singapore. We intend to stay small.
We partner with a select group of companies and build custom IT solutions that accelerate their business. Internal tools, workflow apps, mobile App Store projects — if a partner has an idea or experiment, we develop a targeted solution that fits into how they actually work. Sometimes that's an app for two people. Sometimes it's a platform that changes how an entire team operates.
We deliver measurable results. Fast.
How we work
We spend far more time planning than coding. Requirements gathering, documentation, system design — that's where the real work happens. When it's time to build, we move fast because the thinking is already done.
AI is core to how we develop. We leverage AI agents heavily in our coding workflow. We build AI-powered solutions for our partners. If you're not already using AI as your own software development team, this isn't the right fit.
That said — you need to understand every line you ship. You must be able to explain and defend every decision in a PR. AI is an accelerator, not a replacement for engineering judgment. We are continuously improving how we work, and that requires people who understand code and best practices deeply, not people who copy-paste outputs.
We believe in the 80/20 rule for everything. Especially: 80% planning, 20% execution.
What you'll do
You own problems end-to-end. Requirements gathering, design, engineering, deployment, high availability — the full stack. You'll work directly with our partners, understanding their needs and translating them into solutions.
You will meet partners face-to-face, typically once a week at their offices. The rest of the time, we work out of WeWork. We're flexible on the details — but most of what we do is collaborative. We plan together, we build together, we ship together.
We juggle multiple projects from multiple partners simultaneously. Our partners come to us with experiments. Some become long-running products. Some solve a specific problem and that's it. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity, context-switching between codebases, and keeping multiple workstreams moving at once.
When we need to focus on a large project with ambiguous requirements, we take it offsite. Week-long hackathons in Bangkok, Saigon, or Bali — 5-star accommodations or private villas. This isn't a vacation perk. It's how we do our best work: change the environment, eliminate distractions, get results.
We're experimenting with a 10-hour workday, 4-day workweek. When we're on, we're intense. When we're off, we're off. We expect our team to disconnect completely and enjoy life. No heroics on your days off.
How we think
We need people who speak up. Offer the idea that might sound stupid. Ask the question that feels obvious. Challenge the assumption no one else is questioning.
This isn't just a culture preference — it's an operational requirement. We build with AI, and AI needs guardrails. Those guardrails come from humans who think critically, pressure-test decisions, and make sure nothing slips through on assumptions. If you're the type to stay quiet in a room, this isn't the right team.

- AI fluency — both as a development accelerator and as something you build into solutions
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (we do not sponsor visas)
Stand out: Experience with microcontroller and robotics programming. We have upcoming needs here that our current team doesn't cover.
